Note from Uncle Dick Burkhalter:
These three pictures are interesting. Gramma (Dick's mother) sent Stan to first grade with Jack. The teachers keep sending notes home that Stan was to young to be in first grade but she ignored them. Jack apparently did not pass one of the grades so he ended up a year behind Stan. The three pictures have Stan as a Junior, Jack as a sophomore and Rosemary as a freshmen .
